Park Ridge is one of the faster growing areas of Brisbane with the Mount Lindsay Highway to be updated, with new shopping centres to be build and new infrastructure planned. The Logan City Council has developed a master plan which aims to develop the area so that it is home to 30,000 people by 2026 creating an estimated 8,000 jobs.

Bus Queensland offers commuter translink bus services all over Park Ridge and surrounding suburbs, if you want to get there then catch a bus. The Kingston Station is the closest train hub to Park Ridge. It is about a 15min trip by car from Park Ridge to Kingston Station, from there the train can take you all over the South East.
