BURPENGARY QUEENSLAND

Burpengary is a suburb of north Brisbane located in the Moreton about 12km north of North Lakes along the Bruce Highway. Burpengary has a rich history as it was founded in the 1800’s and is located a short drive from some of the best beaches in Queensland. The town is set in a beautiful semi-rural setting with a blue-chip area to the east of the town. The town has a shopping complex called the “Burpengary Plaza” which caters for all your everyday needs including dinning, hairdressers, accountants and medical centres. At Northlakes you will find Westfield and Costco, Bunnings, Ikea, Coles, Woolworths and Aldi supermarkets. There is also easy access to the Morayfield shopping hub which is located just to the north of the town.

BURPENGARY PUBLIC TRANSPORT

Burpengary is well serviced by trains and busses. You can travel by train to all over south East Queensland from Burpengary Station. If you work in Brisbane city you it is an easy commute by rail. 

Burpengary also has excellent bus services available that make it easy to get around the local area. You can LAO travel from the Plaza to Northlakes Westfield  with ease or to numerous locations in the local area. For more information got to TransLink  

RECREATIONAL FACILITIES

There are several leading edge recreational facilities in Burpengary.

 The town boasts an excellent Equestrian Centre where the Pony Club, Western Performance Club, South East Queensland Appaloosa Club, Northern Districts Hack and Dressage Club and the Qld Working Cow Horse Club are situated.  So if you are into an equestrian sports chances are that one of these clubs will cater for your needs.

 Burpengary has several local Sports complex’s located in Findlay Street and Station Road. Where there are opportunities to participate in Netball, Cricket and football. If you have young children chances are that you will spend at least some of your weekends here.

 The North Lakes Golf club is also not far way down the road. If you are an angler then there are numerous boating facilities available, you can launcher your boat into the river at griffin or go to one of sunshine coast presteen beachers.
